Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday.

During the visit, he will deliver a message from King Abdullah II to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian concerning regional issues and bilateral relations.

Safadi is also scheduled to hold extensive talks with the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, Ali Bagheri Kani.

Tensions between Iran and Israeli Occupation have significantly escalated following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau, in Tehran.

Haniyeh's assassination, which was a day after the killing of a senior Hezbollah military leader in Lebanon, has heightened fears of retaliatory actions from Iran and its allies.

In response, Israeli Occupation have been on high alert, anticipating possible military strikes from Iran and Hezbollah.

The situation has further strained an already volatile region, with both sides preparing for potential conflict.
